A Flower on a Pot
A research project at Japan Advance Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST), supervised by Doctor Kazunori Miyata, 2015
A flower is a versatile and constantly evolving element. This object aims to allow users to play with a flower throughout its life span, from its birth to end of its life. It work with a combination of traditional projected images on top of actuated leafs, mimicking the evolving state of the flower.
The 3d printed object, the programming and the animation of the leafs, and the graphical interface were created entirely by myself.
This project was presented at VRCAI Kobe 2015. You can find the poster paper here.
